AMY ORCUTT
Amy Orcutt loves yoga—and can’t wait to share her love of yoga with you. She started practicing yoga in 1998, as a compliment to her training as a player on the University of North Carolina Women’s Lacrosse team. The benefits of incorporating yoga into her athletic life as a player at Chapel Hill were immediately apparent and started a lifelong love affair with yoga that she’s carried into every part of her life since then. Beginning after graduation from UNC—and continuing to this day—Amy has had an enviable career of coaching high school girls’ lacrosse, and her practice of incorporating yoga into all of her training programs has led to great success for her teams. She led Conestoga High School’s girl’s lacrosse team to win the Central League Championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017, District Championships in 2017 and 2019, and Conestoga’s first-ever State Championship in 2016. But Amy’s love of yoga reaches beyond high school sports, and she recently decided to complete her yoga teacher training to help bring strength and flexibility to other athletes, adults, and children. She is excited to now use her love of athletics, energy and enthusiasm to create challenging yoga sequences that will build strength, flexibility, and confidence in all who take her class. Amy lives in Berwyn with her husband Chad, her 3 children, Jackson, Price, and Tilly, 3 big dogs, 1 little bunny and 5 chickens.
